A little background

Now that I've started the blog, I'm going to write some basic info about my relationship with my boyfriend.

We've been together for almost 2.5 years (this month)

We started dating senior year of high school (though we didn't go to the same high school), and when I moved across the country to go to college, we stayed together. I visited in October, he visited for Thanksgiving, I visited for winter, spring, and summer breaks. We lost our virginity to each other over the spring break. We tried an open relationship at the end of freshman year, though neither of us dated anyone else. The summer after freshman year, I broke up with him. I didn't want to stop being his friend, but I didn't want to do long distance again. However, boyfriend had difficulty being 'friends' and since it appeared that I would have to either stop talking to him for a long time (half a year? a year? who knows) or get back together with him, I got back together with him (Thanksgiving sophomore year). I went home for winter break and saw him, and we decided that we would not be in an open relationship. Now it is just past spring break of my sophomore year in college, and we are still together, but as in many relationships, not 100% perfect.

It's kind of hard to have firsts anymore now that we've been together for 2.5 years. I guess there could be first things like sex on the floor (August 2005) and sex in the shower (not yet). But since they haven't happened yet, I may just write about them as they happen. And add them here.
